Easter in Oxford

Easter is just around the corner! So, what is it like here in Oxford? Southern Sweet. You’ll see Easter egg hunts happening on lawns, little boys wearing white knee-high socks and little girls donning frilly dresses and delicate hats.

In case some of you parents are traveling to spend Easter in Oxford; or maybe your students are staying here – here is some info you might want to know!

Each church puts on their own special Easter service, and several Ole Miss attend a special Easter celebration in the Grove. Here is a directory of local churches, if you and/or your student would like to attend.

If you’re looking for Easter “happies” for your student, (no, they’re not too old for the Easter Bunny!) we have so many cute places to shop! The Lily Pad, Olive Juice, Katherine Beck, Inside Discount, Bette’s Flowers and Sugar Magnolia are just a few! They all have SUCH cute things for Spring and Easter.

And last, but not least; Easter lunch/brunch! We have called around and found some places that will be open for Easter brunch and lunch. Here is a list of restaurants that are taking reservations…call soon because they will fill up fast!
