Crazy for Swayze

The Ole Miss Baseball team is set to kick off their season this Friday, Feb. 18, 2022. They will go head-to-head in a series of three games against the Buccaneers of Charleston Southern on their home field, Swayze. This game marks the first of the season and the beginning of what truly feels like Spring in Oxford. In case you do not know what a beer shower is, you are about to. A beer shower is an Ole Miss baseball tradition. After every home-run, the student section throws their drinks in the air and makes what we call, a “beer shower.” This is a prime example of just one of the things that makes an Ole Miss baseball game a unique place to be.
