8 Super Easy Super Bowl Recipes

No Super Bowl party is complete without the food! If you’re trying to find some easy

recipe ideas for this Sunday, we’ve got your students covered! Here is a list of a few of our favorites (all written from a student perspective - so SHARE WITH YOUR KID!) See Kate's KID below the last Super Bowl with the Eagles!

The Starters

1. Crock Pot Buffalo Dip

Starting off spicey! This delicious recipe can be made with our without chicken. If you

choose to add chicken, begin by boiling your 4oz of chicken breasts until fully cooked

and then shred it. Save some time and add some flavor with a pre-cooked rotisserie

chicken and shred it. Add the shredded chicken into the crock pot along with your 8 oz

cream cheese, 1.5 cups cheddar cheese, 1 cup ranch dressing, ¾ cup buffalo sauce. How

much chicken, cheese, ranch, and buffalo sauce is up to your preference! Place the lid on

the crockpot and heat for 3-4 hours on low heat or 1-2 hours on high heat. Stir every half

hour or so until the cream cheese is fully melted. Add some extra cheese to the top if you

desire! The best thing about this recipe is that it is very versatile and can be served with

many things! Make a plate of celery, carrots, peppers, tortilla chips.. You name it.. And

Enjoy!

2. Loaded Fries

Plain fries are great, but loaded fries are better! You can choose any style of fries you

want, but keep in mind that thicker fries such as steak fries or waffle fries may hold up

toppings best. Oven bake, deep fry, or air fry until extra crisp. Move fries to a baking

sheet, add cheese and cooked bacon and broil until the cheese is bubbling. Once finished,

Add your fresh toppings- green onions, diced tomatoes, and/or jalapenos. A drizzle of

ranch and some sour cream is delicious as well! Yummmyyy!

The Entrees

3. Air Fryer Chicken Wings

Are air fryers not the best? Begin this recipe by prepping your wings. Make sure they are

defrosted and pat them dry to help them get extra crispy. Toss the wings in a bowl with

oil, salt, pepper, paprika, and onion and garlic powder until coated. Preheat the airfryer to

400 degrees, then place the wings in the Air Fryer to where they do not touch each other.

Cook for about 10 minutes, flip the wings, and cook for another 8 minutes. Make sure the

chicken is cooked through fully, remove them from the fryer and enjoy!

4. Cheeseburger Sliders

Juicy, beefy, and cheesy! Start this dish by browning your lean, ground meat and the

stove with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Remove the excess fat to keep your buns from

being soggy. Take your buns (we recommend Hawaiian slider buns) and place the bottom

buns onto a baking sheet. Place the cooked beef onto the rolls, then add your cheddar

cheese slices and diced white onions (if you choose). Place your top buns back on your

sliders, brush with melted butter and sprinkle sesame seeds on top. Bake until the bread is

golden brown and the cheese is melted. Slice into individual sliders and dig in!

The Sides

5. Baked Jalapeño Poppers

Jalepeño Poppers are so easy and delicious! Slice your jalepeños in half, but leave the

stem intact if possible. Hollow out the jalapeno with a spoon (you can choose to leave in

the seeds if you want some spice). Add cream cheese, crispy bacon bits, sharp cheddar,

Kosher salt and black pepper to a mixing bowl. It is easiest to stir and stuff your mix if

the cream cheese is room temperature, so be sure to take it out of the fridge about an hour

beforehand. Mix these ingredients until well combined and evenly distribute the mixture

into the jalapenos, pressing in gently into the cavity of each jalapeno. Top with more

cheddar cheese, bake for 20 minutes at 400 degrees, garnish with green onions and enjoy!

6. Firecrackers

This is one of my favorite sides of all time! And it’s as easy as it can be! Line unsalted

saltine crackers in an air-tight container. Take a separate bowl and mix 1 cup canola oil, a

packet of ranch dressing mix, 2 tablespoons of crushed red pepper flakes, and ½ teaspoon

of garlic powder. Stir until well combined and drizzle the mixture evenly over crackers.

Close the container and flip every 5 minutes a few times to distribute the mix evenly. You

can lightly shake the container, but do so gently so the crackers don’t break. You can

choose to bake on a low heat of ~200 for 20 minutes to let the oil soak in better, but it

isn’t necessary if you are short on time. And it’s that easy!

The Desserts

7. Caramel Popcorn

Sweet and Salty! Preheat your oven to 250 and place 5 quarts of popped popcorn into a

large bowl. Melt 1 cup butter on a medium heat on a saucepan, stir in 2 cups brown sugar,

½ cup corn syrup, and 1 tsp salt and stir constantly while it comes to a boil. Then, boil

without stirring for about 4 minutes. Remove from heat and add 1 tsp vanilla extract and

½ tsp baking soda. Drizzle the mix over popcorn and stir until evenly coated. Lately, take

your popcorn and place on a baking dish (it may take 2) and stir every 15 minutes for

about 1 hour. Once this is finished, remove from the oven and let cool before serving.

Break into pieces, and you’re done! Mmmm!

8. Peanut Butter Balls

This delicious dessert only takes 5 ingredients! In a mixing bowl, cream 1 cup of peanut

butter and 6 tablespoons of butter. Creamy peanut butter is recommended, but crunchy

peanut butter is perfect if you are wanting extra texture. Add 2¾ cups of powdered sugar

slowly until well mixed, then add 1 tsp of vanilla. Then, take a large cookie sheet and line

with wax or parchment paper. Take scoops of the mixture and roll into a 1-inch ball. If

you want to make these balls a little more fun, shape them into footballs! Refrigerate until

hardened. Then, take 10 oz of melting chocolate and microwave for about thirty seconds

or until melted. Remove the peanut butter balls from the fridge and use a toothpick to dip

into the chocolate, covering them fully. Lay back onto the cookie sheet and let them

harden. If you made little footballs, use white icing to decorate the football laces, serve,

and enjoy!

Whether you are rooting for the Chiefs, the Eagles, or are just there for a good time, we

hope your Super Bowl Sunday is full of big smiles and happy bellies with the help of

some of these recipe ideas!
