Mississippi State’s move in day, 1999, is a day etched into my memory. With a backdrop of Rice Hall and my thoughts filled with questions, excitement, and apprehension, I started my journey as a college student.
Most of us have memories of leaving home for the first time; whether it was to attend college, join the military, new employment, or other opportunities. Even with personal experiences as a guide, it’s sometimes difficult for parents to know how to support their adult children during this phase of life.
