Is your child already talking about looking for an apartment to rent for next year? I know it seems early to be talking about that, considering it is almost a full year away, but “lease-signing season” starts as early as November for the following school year! By late February or March, the better student housing complexes will be nearing capacity and you’ll be hard-pressed to find a spot for your student. Here is a breakdown of our favorite places to rent an apartment in Oxford. Also, mark your calendars for our third annual “Housing Week” event starting TOMORROW! We will be doing LIVE video tours on our social media pages for several student housing communities in town – you won’t want to miss it!
Cambridge Station offers exceptional two-bedroom apartments and is located just 1.2 miles from campus, so you know making it to campus won’t be an issue. Cambridge Station offers amenities like a state-of-the art fitness facility, a boutique-style swimming pool, pool table, volleyball court, two study labs with free printing and more! Bonus: Cable and Internet are included with rent!
A newly renovated community, DLP Oxford, is in a great location with upgrades everywhere! They offer fully-furnished 1 and 2 bedroom units and are pet friendly. Several resort-style amenities are available for residents including a 24 hour fitness room as well as a newly renovated recreation room and pool. DLP is on the OUT Bus line with the stop being right outside their front office. This makes it extremely easy to get to and from class without having to fight parking issues.
The Domain is located at 2002 Oxford Way which is just four minutes from campus! This community offers one bedroom apartments, two bedroom apartments and four bedroom apartments. The Domain has many different amenities both for the community and your own apartment. The complex offers a resort style pool, basketball court, 24-hour fitness center and an Internet café. The furnished units include a 42” flat screen TV, living room and dining furniture, and a full-sized bed in each bedroom!
Faulkner Flats is located at 2998 Old Taylor Road, which is about five minutes from campus. This complex offers one, two and three-bedroom apartments with or without garages. Faulkner Flats offers public transportation, resort style pool, a golf simulator and a study room. Each unit has faux wood flooring, stainless steel appliances and stain-grade cabinets, as well as other upgrades.
Lexington Pointe is located just one mile from campus, in the middle of everything! The complex offers one, two and three-bedroom apartments. Lexington Pointe also offers great amenities for both the community and the apartment itself. This community offers a boutique-style swimming pool, outdoor fireplace, and high-speed Internet. Lexington Pointe also has private balconies or patios, refrigerator, microwave and large closets in each apartment!
The Hub is located at 109 Anchorage Road, just about 1.3 miles from campus. The Hub offers one-bedroom units all the way to units with five bedrooms! This community has a 20-foot jumbo TV adjacent to their resort-style pool. They also have a basketball court and a game lounge with arcade games for the community. Each furnished unit has a private balcony and bedrooms with walk-in closets.
UClub, located at 100 UClub Cove, is extremely close to campus with an OUT Bus stop just steps away. With fully-furnished apartments, your student can come to school and bring nothing but their clothes. They offer a beautifully equipped fitness facility as well as recreation center for those study breaks. Oh, and don't forget the pool, hot tub and sun deck along with the 244" outdoor jumbotron for those big away game weekends. UClub also offers Wi-Fi throughout the community as well as an academic support center that includes iMacs as well as free printing!
Uncommon is a great apartment complex that is located just 0.3 miles from campus and right off the square! Uncommon offers two, three and four-bedroom apartments. The complex offers a laundry service, valet trash service and 24/7 on site emergency service for the community. These furnished units have euro-style cabinetry, free Wi-Fi, free cable and SMART TV in the living room.
