In Oxford This Summer? Take a Class!

Whether you are a student or have a student currently attending Ole Miss, learning about summer class options is important. The university offers many different class options over different set course of times. With so many options, it is realistic to find an option that works for you or your student.

For summer terms, fully online classes are offered, so you or your student do not have to stay in Oxford the whole summer. If you or your student would like to stay, they offer on campus, fully in-person classes as well.

If your student is wanting to stay in Oxford over the summer and looking for a place to stay on campus, have them contact their Community Advisors (CA), to talk more about summer living options on campus.

There are multiple time options for summer classes, as everyone’s summer plans could look different. Listed below are the available summer class time options for 2022:

If your student leases an apartment in the Oxford area, taking summer courses could be a great way to stay busy and stay in town to take full advantage of their lease.

Summer courses are a great way to get caught up or ahead. The flexible course hours and formats leave room for more activities or potential working opportunities. If your student is at all interesting in taking summer classes, encourage them to reach out to a friend who has before or browse the list of available classes for this upcoming summer. They can see the list of classes being offered on their MyOleMiss portal.

For more information or to register for summer courses, visit MyOleMiss or call the Office of Registrar at 662-915-7792.
