The Rundown on Transfer Credits

Students have the freedom to take their prerequisite courses somewhere else so they can focus on their major classes at Auburn. This is more convenient, less expensive, and most of the time easier than courses at Auburn. Sometimes students need to take a class or two in the summer at a community college to give them a chance to boost their gpa, get ahead on their course work, or make up a class. This is where it is important to understand the ins-and-outs of transfer credits.
Some students have experience with AP and Dual Enrollment classes in high school that prepare them for courses at Auburn. With a certain grade, these classes can be transferable. Students also decided to go to a community college for two years, and then transfer to Auburn. Transfer credits apply to all
